You can’t always have your foot on the gas. If you do, then you’ll burn out and crash hard.

Life is a lot and long journey; you must be able to endure and learn how to maneuver through the ups and downs of this game.

You only got one life, so you need to learn how to adapt and move accordingly.

Take breaks, slow down from time to time and get some rest stops. When you feel yourself getting restless, that’s a clear indicator that it’s time to stop for a while.

You can’t function at your best when you’re tired and run through. You can only be the best in your best state of mind and that’s through proper rest and preparation. Take precautions for your health both mentally and physically to get through the task.

Set a time for working and then once that ends take a break. There’s a technique called the Pomodoro technique where you work straight for 25 mins and then take a break for 5 mins. You keep doing this to break the large task into smaller bits where it’s easier to tackle.

In the end, you’re not as burned out. You’re focusing for a certain amount of time. You’re moving with precise action and a focused mentality.

Breathe, stretch, walk around, and get some water.

Do whatever it is you need to relieve the tension in your mind from the hard work. Play for a bit and just ease your mind before you start again.

It’s not always about working hard but more importantly working smart.

Make things happen and enjoy the process.
